Our Wandering Story
The idea for The Wandering Board was born from a lifelong connection to food, culture, and the beauty of sharing memorable experiences.
I grew up in the heart of Napa Valley, surrounded by rich culinary culture where food and wine are more than indulgences - they’re a way of life. My hard-working parents moved our family there when I was just 18 months old, and from an early age, I was immersed in the region’s high-end food and wine scene. My small-town upbringing revolved around the kitchen island, the vineyard, and the backyard vegetable garden.
My first job, was as barista at The French Laundry, a world I worshiped, and where I had the privilege of witnessing culinary excellence firsthand. Growing up in the presence of greatness I learned the importance of quality ingredients and thoughtful presentation - lessons I’ve carried with me ever since.
Snacking on the go was a way of life, not just out of convenience but out of necessity in the fast-paced food and wine world. Charcuterie boards weren’t a trend, they were a staple, perfectly paired with wine and the culture of togetherness.
In my early twenties I embarked on a transformative journey that led me to visit twenty five countries living out of a backpack. Eating my way through small towns and villages on the other side of the world, I emerged myself in a rich array of cultures looking for a purpose.
Life eventually led me to Florida, where a series of personal changes inspired me to turn my passion into something tangible. The Wandering Board reflects my roots: simple, casually elegant, and designed to effortlessly bring people together over good food, just as I experienced growing up.
This cart is more than a business - it’s a piece of my story, crafted with care, culture, and a love for life’s little luxuries.
I can’t wait to share it with you.
